Your FSA | HSA account can be used for many approved out-of-pocked health care related expenses some of which are prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and other eye-care related products and services.

What is a Health Savings Account (HSA)?

A health savings account is a tax-free fund that qualifying individuals can use to pay for out-of-pocket health care costs.

Employees and self-employed individuals alike can open a health savings account … if they meet the requirements.

What is a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?

A flexible spending account is a tax-free fund that employees can use to pay for out-of-pocket health care costs.

Unlike an HSA, only employees can open FSAs. Self-employed individuals cannot have a flexible spending account.

How to use your FSA or HSA

There are two ways to make purchases using your FSA|HSA account:

Use your FSA | HSA account card

Many FSA | HSA accounts provide an account card, like a credit card, that can be used at checkout. Because we are an authorized online and in-store retailer for FSA | HSA approved products, you may enter this card information in the payment section at checkout.

Reimbursement

If you do not have an FSA | HSA card to use or for some reason your card was declined, don’t fret. You may still complete your purchase by another payment method and submit your receipt to your FSA | HSA account for reimbursement. Please contact your FSA | HSA representative and verify that your account is eligible for reimbursements prior to purchase.
