Eyewear trends come and go, but some frame styles have a way to remaining timeless. Browline frames are one of them. With a strong, bold brow and unmistakable vintage look, bowlines have been a recognizable part of eyewear for decades.

Today, modern browline frames offer the best of both worlds. A timeless style that feels both vintage and sophisticated with modern craftsmanship and colors.

Timeless Style of Browline Eyewear

Browline glasses have been around much longer than people realize. The style was introduced in 1947 by Jack Rohrback for Shuron. The original design was called the Ronsir and was created with interchangeable components that allowed wearers to customize the size, fit and appearance of their glasses.

The style took off during the 1950s and became one of the defining eyewear looks of the era. Browline frames were worn by many cultural figures helping create the intelligent and sophisticated image still associated with the style today.

Today, browline eyewear has evolved with new shapes and function but the staying power is exactly what makes the look appealing. They feel familiar without being a short-lived fashion trend.
